West Coast Cowboys is a Western Australia based equine club that competes in Extreme Cowboys racing which originated in USA. West Coast Cowboys was the first club to introduce the sport to Western Australia.

The word extreme seems to worry some but never fear, we have EXTREME FUN at all of our events! Cowboys racing is a new and exhilarating sport to WA that allows horse and rider teams to complete a course of obstacles that range in difficulty and divisions.

We have divisions to cater for everyone from the little ones to the older riders.

  • Leadline – Ages 2 to 7

  • Young Guns – Ages 7 to 11

  • Youth – Ages 7 to 17

  • Novice – Ages 18 and older

  • Green horse

  • Intermediate

  • Non-Pro

  • Ride Smart – Ages 55 and older

  • Pro

Our sport and club are constantly growing and new obstacles are being made for our club so there is always something new and fun to try when you come to our events! If you have any ideas you would like to see built, please let us know and we will see what can be done!

We know it can be a little confusing deciding which division to go in so please contact us, tell us a little bit about you and your horse and we will advise which division we think would be suited best to you.

We are always looking at new venues to hold events so if you have or know of a good venue please let us know!
